Open Day with Unveiling and Blessing of a new Lord Shiva statue

Join us at our Open Day between from 10am to 2pm.

Take the opportunity to view our facilities, including a newly opened Pooja Room, and will include the unveiling and blessing of a new Lord Shiva statue. Enjoy Indian Chanting Music and light refreshments.

Local care home operator and musician, Sailesh Raja, has generously donated a large statue of Shiva to Great Glen Crematorium to sit outside the newly opened Pooja and Prayer Room. The statue is due to be unveiled and blessed in an open ceremony on February 2nd. The statue has been brought from India and sits around 36 inches high on a plinth at the side of the building, facing towards the rising sun. It bears a plaque commemorating Mr Raja’s late Mother and Brother.
