Set in South Leicestershire’s countryside just outside the village of Great Glen, our Crematorium, Natural Burial Ground and Memorial Gardens offer a calm and dignified setting for the final farewell of a loved one.
Opened in 2017, the modern, state-of-the-art facility is located on the London Road, south of the village to serve residents locally and in the surrounding boroughs. It is set within thirty acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, enveloped by trees and nature, offering families solace in its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The spacious crematorium is built in the local, rural style and has been designed to blend into the surrounding countryside. Our buildings harmonise beautifully with the surrounding countryside and are to support the diverse community of Leicestershire.
Our beautiful main chapel offers a warm and comforting atmosphere, while catering for people with a range of faiths or none. The chapel entrance area features a protective canopy, offering shelter in all weather conditions.
For the bereaved of Hindu and Sikh faiths, we are proud to offer a dedicated Pooja Hall and prayer room. This standalone, purpose-built space, located just meters from the main chapel, provides a private setting for mourners to observe traditions and pay respects before and after the ceremony
Our peaceful Garden of Remembrance and Natural Burial Ground provide a variety of choices for commemorating loved ones.
