We are delighted to announce an important milestone in our journey here At Great Glen, as our beautiful Chapel is to be dedicated by the Bishop of Leicester, the Rt. Rev. Martyn Snow, during a service on Thursday 5th October.
Bishop Martyn will be joined by invited guests, including the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Cllr. Rashmikant Joshi, civic leaders, representatives of the various professional industry organisations, local Clergy and our valued colleagues from across the bereavement sector.
The service will also include contributions from representatives of the secular movement and the wide spectrum of faith groups we have been privileged to serve since opening in March 2017.
Managing Director of Westerleigh, Richard Evans comments, ‘We first embarked on the idea of providing a new Crematorium for Leicestershire some twenty years ago and we are delighted to see our plans finally come to fruition.
It is also now that our real job has begun as we strive to deliver on our promise to provide the very best service for the bereaved of this area’.
